When a student refers someone and that person pays their first fee, the student who referred them earns a discount on their next fee. It's added as credit.
Turning on referrals
Where: Settings → How much and when do you charge? → Drop-in class and referrals → Referrals (from the Referrals screen, the Turn them on button takes you straight there)
- Check Reward members who refer someone.
- Choose the Discount: a percentage of their fee or a fixed amount.
- Choose the Approval: I approve it in Referrals or Applied automatically.
- Save.
How you record who brought whom
- In the sign-up form, the new student fills in "Did someone refer you?" with the student's name or WhatsApp number.
- In the new student's profile.
- The agent records it when someone writes in and says they were referred.
The Referrals screen
Where: menu → Referrals
It shows who was referred by whom and the discount the referrer earned. If you chose to approve them by hand, this is where you approve or decline them.
