Trial classes are booked by the agent when someone writes in, or by your team from the panel, always in a slot that exists in your schedule. Then DojoTally reminds the person about the class, asks how it went and shows you how many leads end up signing up.
Do you offer a trial class?
Where: Settings → Which notices go out, and when? → Does your academy offer a trial class?
Choose Yes, free (the agent invites people to try it and makes clear there's no charge), Yes, paid (it says how much it costs before booking) or We don't offer one (it doesn't offer trials: it invites people to sign up). The agent only offers what you choose here. On top of that, each class in the schedule says whether it works as a first class and which ages it's for (see Schedule).
The trial calendar
Where: menu → Trials

- The month with each trial and its status: booked, showed up (✓), no-show (✗), signed up (★) or cancelled.
- Left open: trials that already happened where nobody recorded whether the person came. Mark Showed up or No-show.
- Book a trial class: name, WhatsApp and a slot from the schedule.
Trial notices
In Settings → Trial class notifications you choose which ones go out automatically on WhatsApp:
- Notify the team when one is booked, at their verified number.
- Reminder before the class: if the class is before noon, the night before, at the last hour of the messages window; otherwise, that same day, at the first (by default, 21:00 and 9:00). The window is set in Settings → How does your academy look?. It includes the academy's address.
- Follow-up for those who came: how it went and the sign-up link. It only goes out once you mark them Showed up: if nobody marks what happened, it isn't sent. You choose how long after the class (by default, three hours; it can be a day or more), always within the messages window.
- Invite no-shows to reschedule, with the next available slots, as soon as you mark them (outside the messages window, at the next opening).
The Marketing funnel
Where: menu → Marketing

Everyone who writes in and isn't a student, or who books a trial, is a lead. Marketing has three tabs:
- Board: leads by stage (new, talking, trial booked, came, signed up, cold, lost). They move on their own, and you can move them by hand if needed. The ones you're no longer interested in can be archived, without losing anything.
- Funnel: of those who wrote in during a period, how many booked, came and signed up, by channel and by how they heard about you. It shows you where you lose the most people.
- How did you hear about us?: the sources the agent asks about (Instagram, Google, a friend, walked past the door…).
