How we calculate it
- Students missing = active students × % missing 2 weeks or more
- Students who leave per month = students missing × % who quit if nobody calls
- Dues you stop collecting per month = students who leave × monthly fee
- Over a year = dues you stop collecting per month × 12
The yearly figure is what the students who leave in a single month stop paying over 12 months. If it happens every month, the loss adds up and is larger.
Where the example values come from
- 80 students, 15 % missing 2 weeks or more and 40 % of those leaving: example values to start with. Your own are in your attendance records.
- Monthly fee: ARS 50,000 or US$150 depending on the currency, as an example. We didn't find a reliable public average of academy fees (checked on 10/14/2026): enter yours.
